Thanks to NoTube, Leopold learned to eatagain. His parents are very happy and grateful for thecompetent online coaching, the loving support, and the genuine life changingimpact.
Leopold was born with a complex heart defect. Early on, he developed a dependence on feeding tubes and exhibited typical side-effects such as frequent vomiting and oral aversion. With the help of NoTube’s online coaching program, the so-called Netcoaching, he was successfully and rapidly weaned off his feeding tube. He now enjoys drinking and eating. His parents are very pleased and describe their participation as an experience that has profoundly changed their family life. We are very proud of Leopold.
Tell us about your experience with your child’s mealtime situation (with or without a feeding tube). What was it like before, during, and after treatment? How did you feel during the program? What was difficult; what was easy? What kind of changes did you notice in your child? Share what is important to you with other parents…:
Our son Leopold was born with a very complex congenital heart defect and, as a precaution, was tube fed from his 10th day of life.
At first, he was still able to drink from a bottle on his own.
By six weeks, however, he refused all food - a phenomenon that was unfamiliar to both the cardiologists and our pediatrician.
After receiving approval, Dr. Lilli Beckenbach, the pediatrician from NoTube, contacted our cardiologist and supported us every step of the way with advice and guidance. We can wholeheartedly recommend the online program.
At first, communicating with the team via messages took some getting used to, but we quickly adapted. We received valuable tips and answers to all our questions and videos.
We are deeply grateful to NoTube and their team of psychologists, feeding therapists, and medical professionals. We especially recommend the support they provide for parents, helping with our concerns and questions.
To all families who may be facing surgery: have the courage to reach out to NoTube - it’s worth it :)
Thank you for everything :)
